Eglina Beach is located 6 km south of Argostoli, on the southwestern coast of Kefalonia and close to the village of Svoronata.
It is a sheltered bay with gradually sloping beach that stretches for 100 meters. It is ideal for children to play and is perfect for a relaxed stay and a refreshing dive. The rocks outcrops scattered around the cove, make it an ideal spot for snorkeling. There is no water sport center, but it is an organized beach with a beach bar, sun beds and umbrellas.
To get to Eglina, you pass through Minies village, an area which is somewhat developed but it offers the basic facilities. You will also find a mini-market and a tavern offering local recipes of Kefalonia.
